The works

A batch is a record, from material to carton.

Incoming materials, in-process checks, finished review, packing, then dispatch from Gahlian. Certificates are shared with the quality file, not claimed as slogans on this page.

At the Gahlian works, the useful question is not how large the building looks. It is whether a batch can be traced from the material inward to the carton that leaves.

Aspro Pharma’s public account of that path is short on purpose. Auditors, stockists and regulators should be shown the actual records, not a paragraph on a website.

  1. 01

    Materials in

Incoming materials are identified against the paperwork before they are accepted into the works.

  2. 02

    In process

Weight, appearance and in-process checks sit between mixing and compression or filling.

  3. 03

    Finished review

A batch is not treated as ready until the record and the sample agree.

  4. 04

    Pack and release

Blisters, bottles and cartons are packed only after the batch record is complete.

  5. 05

    Store and dispatch

Finished goods leave the Kangra works against an order confirmed with the corporate office.

Blister packing is the last visible step. Release still depends on the batch record.
